Why a dev platform

Customise without forking the codebase.

Ops can build, too

Drag-build modules & workflows without raising a JIRA ticket every time.

Engineers go deeper

Full SDK in JavaScript & Python - write anything the no-code builder can't.

Govern who ships what

Sandbox first, approval workflow, role-based publishing - no rogue scripts.

What we build in

Six capabilities at the core.

Module builder

Custom objects - fields, validations, layouts, list views. Stored in your DB.

Workflow builder

If-this-then-that with branching, delays, API calls, approvals.

Widgets

Drop UI components into any record - calculators, maps, charts, embeds.

JS/Python SDK

Server-side scripts with access to your data and APIs. TypeScript types included.

Sandbox & CI

Test in sandbox, promote to staging then prod. Versioned, rollback-able.

Role-based publish

Who can build vs review vs publish. Audit log for every change.

Three layers of customisation

Configure โ†’ script โ†’ fork.

Start with the no-code builder. Hit a limit? Drop into JavaScript. Need more? Full source-code access - fork the entire platform.

  • Layer 1: visual builder
  • Layer 2: JavaScript/Python scripts
  • Layer 3: full SDK
  • Optional: source-code fork
  • Marketplace for sharing

FAQ

Dev Platform build questions.

How long does a build take?
10โ€“14 weeks for v1 - module builder, workflow builder, widget framework, SDK. More layers (marketplace, billing) add 2โ€“4 weeks each.
Does this work for non-CRM products too?
Yes - we've built dev platforms inside HR tools, lending platforms and ERPs. Same engine, different schemas.
Can customers build apps?
Yes - multi-tenant sandbox per customer, with optional marketplace to publish back.
What about security?
Sandboxed JS execution, rate limits per workspace, full audit log of every script run.
Can we open-source parts of it?
Yes - we've helped clients open-source the SDK while keeping the engine proprietary.
